June 2023 Newsletter

Updated: Nov 10, 2023

Hello, Newsletter Family. I want to thank each and every one of you for being a part of our newsletter family. To those who are new to our community, a warm welcome. I'm thrilled to announce that we've welcomed over 39 brand new newsletter subscribers in the month of July, so there are many newcomers among us. I want to extend a sincere thank you for subscribing and officially welcome you to our support team.

Our newsletter holds a unique place in our community as it keeps you updated on the latest developments in the life of our church as we draw nearer to our February 4th launch date. This is when we'll kick off our weekly services for our brand-new faith community and initiate a wide range of activities and community events within the church.

I always take this opportunity to highlight some of our victories and milestones in this video segment of the newsletter. In July, we celebrated not only the addition of 39 new newsletter subscribers but also our leadership team meeting. During this meeting, we made an exciting decision to introduce a brand-new program for pastors, church leaders, and churches. It's called the Navigating Digital Ministry Partnership Program, where pastors and churches can contribute either one-time or on a monthly basis to support us. In return, they gain access to informational events and sessions, a special group exclusively for pastors and leaders, monthly newsletters tailored to their needs, a weekly blog, and a network of like-minded ministers. We intend to share our learnings and even our mistakes as online digital ministers to benefit the global church in making disciples of Jesus Christ and spreading His love and hope. If you haven't already, please consider informing your pastor or church leader about this partnership program. They can find more information on our registration page, including a special promotion for those who make a one-time donation.

Whether you're a recent addition to our newsletter family or a long-standing member, I encourage you to take the next step by joining our prayer team. While you currently receive monthly updates, becoming part of our prayer team allows for more frequent updates, keeping you closely connected to our progress as we approach the launch of United Community Church, now just five months away in February.

If you haven't had the chance to attend one of our information events, I highly recommend it. During these sessions, I share the journey my wife Tamika and I have embarked on as we work towards establishing a brand-new faith community. We discuss the reasons behind our vision for an accessible, diverse, and online digital community where everyone can experience the love of Jesus and connect.

Additionally, I invite you to sign up for one of our Bible studies. We now host weekly Bible studies every Thursday from 11 AM to 12 PM. These sessions delve into the mission, vision, values, and beliefs of United Community Church while exploring the biblical foundations of our faith. Everyone is welcome, especially those interested in becoming part of our launch team, whether for 6, 12, or 18 months, contributing financially, or becoming one of the first members of our church. It's an excellent way to take that next step.

Lastly, if you haven't scheduled a one-on-one meeting with me yet, I would love the opportunity to get to know you better. I've already had the pleasure of meeting with several of you, including our prayer team members, to discuss our journey and the vision that has been placed in our hearts as we approach the launch of this church. I can't stress enough how vital your support is. Building a community takes a community, and your presence as a newsletter subscriber, along with your readership and word-of-mouth referrals, is immensely appreciated. Keep an eye out for our upcoming August newsletter, which will be released shortly.

Once again, thank you for your unwavering support and everything you've done for us thus far. I pray that we, in turn, are a blessing to you on your faith journey, aiding you in growing closer to Jesus in your relationship with Him. Wishing everyone a blessed month ahead, and I eagerly look forward to connecting with you one-on-one. You can follow the link to schedule some time for us to meet and introduce ourselves or, if we're already acquainted, to delve deeper into the journey and vision that God has placed in our hearts.
